Common Podiatry Treatments
Flat Foot Treatment
If the entire sole of your foot touches the ground when standing, you have what is called pes planus, or flat feet. This condition can cause foot pain, especially in the heel or arch area. Our podiatrists can discuss treatment options during a visit to our Escondido, CA, office.
Orthotics
Prescription orthotics cannot be rivaled by any over-the-counter alternative. True medical devices, custom orthotics are hand-made to conform to your foot and address your specific needs. If you stand for hours and have been let down by generic orthotics, discover custom orthotics.
Tendonitis
A common sports injury, especially in runners, tendonitis of the foot or ankle can make standing and walking painful. If left untreated, tendonitis can cause decreased mobility and instability when on your feet. By pinpointing the affected tendon, our podiatrists can develop an effective treatment plan.
Ingrown Toenail
When a toenail curves and grows under the skin of your toe, it is called an ingrown nail. Symptoms include chronic pain, irritated skin, and a foul odor caused by a bacterial infection. Trying to dig out or trim the nail yourself can make things worse. Contact our renowned podiatric surgeons for professional non-surgical or if needed, surgical treatment to relieve your pain.

Glowing Reviews for Our Escondido, CA, Practice
I love to walk, and a few months ago started having pain in my right knee. The pain was unbearable and quite alarming. I was concerned that I won't be able to continue taking the long walks that I enjoy very much. I consulted Dr.Redkar. She told me that my knee pain was a result of having flat feet. She recommended getting custom orthotics and made a pair for me. Another valuable advice she gave is to use orthotics at home also, while doing chores, specially, cooking, that also I enjoy very much. I followed her advice and completely forgot about the pain. Now, I walk from 5-7 miles at a time without even thinking about the knee pain. I give 5 stars to Dr. Redkar, as she listens and explains the cause and solution to the problem thoroughly. I like to ask questions before following any advice, and she not only answered all my questions, but helped me to get rid of my pain.
View on GoogleI enjoyed and respect Dr. Morris and his staff members!! I have a reoccurring ankle instability in my right foot and Dr. Morris did both feet in-house X-ray then sent me out to get a MRI scan of the foot when he couldn’t see the issue. He did guess what it could be but doesn’t want to treat me with a guess. That I appreciate and respect. His guess was correct but the fact that he didn’t just prescribe me pain medications on a guess makes me apart of the learning and healing process. He didn’t tell me I needed surgery and sign me up for it. He said it’s a possibility after we do certain steps but we need to try things first. He has sent me to a Physical Therapist and I can see just how weak my ankles are in both feet. Im shocked how unstable and weak my ankles are at age 44 since I'm an active person!!! His two ladies working on phone calls , insurance , appointments etc…are the sweetest two office employees live ever met. They got me into see him earlier than I expected after listening to my complaints about my feet. They’ve sent me a Thank You card in the mail, they’ve listened to me when I’ve called complaining about my pain and discomfort. Dr. Morris even got back to me within 10 minutes of my call. Im a wife and mother of 3 boys and I wish my family could operate like this place. If you’re looking for solutions for your current foot problems I suggest you try Dr. Morris and his staff. Im so grateful to have found this place. I wish I would’ve found it earlier so I could’ve curtailed my feet issues
